'10 Ford Shelby GT-500 Super Snake: HW

'10 Ford Shelby GT-500 Super Snake from 2011 Hot Wheels Premiere

Pictured with the first variant which is in dark blue.
The metallic dark red looks gorgeous on the Mustang.

Lack of details at rear end. Not unexpected. But still, a beautiful casting overall.

American Performance: HW 5-Pack

Bought myself another 5-Pack today, just for that one Mustang inside the 5-Pack.

American Performance from Hot Wheels 5-Pack

And these are the cars included in the 5-Pack:
Dodge Viper GTS-R

C6 Corvette

Ford Shelby GR-1 Concept

Dodge Challenger Concept

...and the main reason I bought the 5-Pack: Custom '07 Ford Mustang

Here are the group pics!
Dat ass!

Mustangs!

It's been a while since I last posted some new hauls in my blog. I've been very busy lately. Extra classes at night and on weekends. Could hardly find the time to go hunting for new cars. So in the meanwhile, here's a picture compilation of the Mustangs that I have so far. All of them are from Hot Wheels, except for the 4 2007 Ford Shelby GT500 Convertible at the lower right part of the picture, which are from Matchbox. Thanks for looking!

'69 Shelby GT-500: HW

'69 Shelby GT-500 from 2011 Hot Wheels Premiere
Basic design is similar to the '62 Mustang Concept. Only difference is that this one looks more like a car, rather than a washing machine.

Truth be told, it looks a bit dull compared to the illustration on the card. The front-end should have been chromed for that muscle car look. I hope the upcoming variations of this car would be more exciting than this one.

'67 Shelby GT-500: HW

'67 Shelby GT-500 from Hot Wheels Muscle Mania 2011

Pictured with the first variant of '67 Shelby GT-500 in 2011, which is red in colour.
I really like the colour on this Shelby GT-500. Sorta like champagne-gold.

If you notice, the second colour variant for the '67 Shelby GT-500 from 2011 has different rims as well.

'67 Shelby GT500: HW Garage

The 2011 Hot Wheels Garage series was released quite sooner than I expected. Which meant I had to fork out this week's pocket money to pay for the cars. But that's probably the only downside to it though.

Looks pretty much the same like the other '67 Shelby GT500s in my collection...

...except for the wheels and the metal chassis...

...which means that I've paid RM13 (roughly equivalent to 2 basic Hot Wheels) for the wheels and the metal chassis. Pretty expensive I would say, but I just can't resist a Mustang.

2007 Ford Shelby GT500: Matchbox

This one is a recent release from Matchbox.

2007 Ford Shelby GT500 from Matchbox Sports Cars 2010
The Matchbox Mustang family.

Despite using the same casting as the previous Shelby GT500s, the blue one features a new set of rims.

'07 Shelby GT-500: HW

Another batch of Mustangs from mushr00m. :)

'07 Shelby GT-500 from Hot Wheels 2008 First Editions

The red Mustang with white stripes look great. I'm not so sure about the other one though... The light blue paint with orange stripes looks like Gulf colours. Would look awesome on a Ford GT40 though.

'67 Shelby GT-500: HW

My recent haul from the 2011 collection.

'67 Shelby GT-500 from Hot Wheels Muscle Mania 2011
The illustrations on the 2011 cards sure look good. I was having a hard time deciding whether or not should I uncard it.

But of course I uncarded the car anyway...

Helang Ford Shelby GT500

Custom die-casts are great. You can do all sort of things to an ordinary die-cast and turn it into a work of art, and your creation is only limited by your imagination. Unfortunately though, I lack the skills in customizing, and I don't even have the necessary tools to begin with. I just can't seem to save up enough cash to buy the tools (Okay, I lied. I spent whatever savings I had on Mustangs, lots of them). However, there is a type of customizing that probably doesn't need any tools (besides a keyboard). Here's my attempt at the Helang Ford Shelby GT500:

It doesn't exist in the real world, but at least it now exists in the digital world.

If the Royal Malaysian Police has one of these, I would quit medical school and join the police force. Seriously.

Busting crime has never looked so good.

As always, you can click on the pictures for a bigger resolution (1364x768). Enjoy! :)

'10 Ford Shelby GT500: HW

And you thought only the Camaro looks good in yellow with black stripes?

'10 Ford Shelby GT500 from Hot Wheels Premiere 2010

This is so much better looking than Bumblebee. Though sometimes I think that it kinda looks like a cab.

540 bhp and 690Nm of torque. The Camaro SS just doesn't stand a chance. Don't get me wrong, I like the Chevrolet Camaro (I like all muscle cars), but the Mustang is just way past awesome.

You need to mix the fuel with a little bit of honey (in 3:1 ratio) in order to get the maximum horsepower. Not true.

My very first haul from Mesra shop at Petronas!
