Mazda Furai: HW

Now, despite looking like an interplanetary vehicle made by an advanced extraterrestrial race, the Mazda Furai is actually a real existing car, and it's fully functional as well. You might have seen the grey Mazda Furai from Hot Wheels in my previous post, which looks absolutely stunning. Today, I'm going to feature the other colour variation for the Mazda Furai. Behold:

Before I saw the actual cast, I thought the Furai wouldn't look good in red. I thought grey was the only colour which looks nice on the Furai. I was wrong. This car actually looks even better in red! It looks striking, it looks mean, it looks fast, it looks perfect!

The Rotary Cars: Tomica

We have two cars with rotary engines today, which means they're Mazdas. The RX-7 and the RX-8 to be specific. I'll put the pictures of the RX-7 and the RX-8 side by side, but I'm not going to do a comparison to determine which one's better than the other though. So let's begin.

From 2 doors to 4 doors. Or is it still 2 doors? I'm confused.

The Japanese characters on the RX-8's door mean: "This door can't be opened". It doesn't matter much though, considering a die-cast on this scale won't have that much interior details, as you can see in the RX-7.

The RX-7's taillights are painted black, while the RX-8's taillights are actually made from clear plastic. Despite the effort, the plastic taillights don't look very good though... They should've just painted the RX-8's taillights like they did on the RX-7.

Back from the Future?

In my previous post, I wrote about a car which is well known for it's role as a time machine, though the car was actually invented the '80s... It wasn't the fastest car around during that period of time, nor was it the prettiest or the most expensive car... But the DeLorean DMC-12 managed to beat the competition and it became one of the most iconic car in the film industry. With its unpainted stainless steel body and gull-wing doors, it became the perfect time machine in the Back to the Future movie franchise. But today we're going to take a look at something slightly different... It's not another time machine, but here's a car that looks like it actually came from the future... the Mazda Furai...

Despite looking like another product of Wayne Enterprises, this car is fully functional. You really should google the real car, as it looks way better than its Hot Wheels counterpart. I'm not saying that the die-cast version looks ugly or anything, I'm just saying that the real car looks absolutely stunning.
